Long journey
1975
On this long journey
Many outrages calamities
Have with me abided
My indelible dye
Crossed with Gods
Omnipotent parchment
Who has won ?
Who is counting ?
I believed you, oh God
Did you think I would forsake thee ?
Your misty plain
Who could know for sure
I did what I did
For the sake of the Id
They bought my head but never my soul
Why have you cursed me ?
Alone, alone, I’ve performed on your stage
Was this the rehearsal ?
Your ingenuous rules
Here, are puerile jokes
Man is the imperfect tool
Of your grand design
So what great fool is he
To give us choice ?
See the man toiling
1975
For his daily bread
Scare crows are his feet
Jackdaws are his head
Awake in a sleep
Till a better life claws him
Away from his delinquent arcadia
When light is rested away
From midnights peace
Unknowing, uncaring
Just split the atom please
When I’ve mastered
And been mastered in turn
Red to blue, blue to red
See the man smiling
Playing the abacus
While progeny comes full circle
Other Poems
A Faries story
A fairly sat under the tree
Her bright wings surreal in the sun
Should I stay here to dry my bright wings ?
She mused on this fine summer day.
You
The one that I love
With my arms around you
In incredible ecstasy
Shutting out the world
Just living lives together
Creation
Creation makes sticky the universe
Light penetrates atomic mass
Fused uncreated unmelodic matter
Shorn of it’s own will
The uncreatable created and crowned.
Our souls attach limpet like
Not for life but love!
